Royal British Legion - Anstey Branch

 

The RBL - Anstey has supported TS Cutlass since remeberance day 2015 when they allowed the unit to march at the front of there remeberence parade. Since then the RBL have donated funds to the unit and are hoping to support TS Cutlass in years to come with with day trips, seminars with vetrans, cerimonial duties and many other activities including selling popies at the King Power Stadium (home of Leicester City Football Club).

Anstey Parish Council - Jubilee Hall

 

Anstey Parish Council has supported T.S Sabre from its very beginning, they have given funds to the unit and allowed the unit to open from the start at its Jubilee Hall. It’s with thanks to the parish council that T.S Sabre was even able to open to begin with.

Leicester Outdoor Pursuits Centre

 

The LOPC has supported TS Cutlass in various ways since their opening in March 2014. They have supported cadet activities within the area for years before this.

 

They support TS Cutlass with the use of their land, activities and storage. TS Cutlass would not be able to run the way we do without the help of this centre. They have also offered to help support TS Sabre.

The Martin High School

The home of T.S Sabre in the winter months. Since the start of T.S Sabre, the school wanted the unit to be based within its grounds and it’s with the special thanks to the Schools Business Manager:- Sue Plunkett, that this was mad a possibility.

Charnwood Borough Council

Charnwood Borough Council has appointed a VCS Development Officer to the unit. This means that we are able tosecure more funding for the unit wich helps us to keep or activitiy costs down to a minimum. Its with the help of the council that we continue to offer our subscription at its discounted rate of £2 a night.
